Well, the day has finally arrived when I got my little fire bellied toads into their new home... I put them in and they were instantly at home after being in cramped conditions, I only got 6 for now to make sure they were ok before getting any more.. I fed them earlier and boy do they go for it with the crickets, real hunters, its ace to watch..

anyway, heres a few pics, I hope they are ok, the quality seems fine..

i used to catch them in the pond paddies during my boyhood.
i love to eat them stir fried with garlic.

How big are they and how big can they become?

yeah they are really cute... they are about 1.5" now and probably almost adult, and grow to about 2.5" max I believe...

they are very lively, and very aggressive feeders, hunting the crickets down with great gusto..

I'm gunna get a video next time I feed them so u can all see these little fellas go lol

by the hook.....

easier than fish to care for lol. no water changes ) will you really need to buy more? won't they breed? you may end up begging paul to come for dinner.)
