This week my dwarf Puffer didn't come for food in the morning.
In the afternoon he still didn't show up and this seemed strange for my Puffer had the same personality as my Oscar and wouldt allways act like a clown everytime i looked his way.
So, i did a waterchange and looked everywhere.
Couldn't find him anywhere.
I resolved to cleaning my tiny HOB filter... and found him.
How he got in there, heaven knows how he got into the filter.
He was fighting to survive but today i found him dead.
He didn't make it.
So rest in peace,Sinatra.

I'm actually not sure if I'm going to restock.
I'd love a green spotted puffer, but the idea of one tank less to care for sounds tempting.

Noddy if you feel like you need a break take one... You can always restock later.

True dat, and i think i will take that break.
On the other hand, my wife found a little plug and a hole in the bottom of the filter.
I just added one plus one and found out how he got into the filter...
Not that that brings him back, but at least i know how it happened...

poor little guy - he sure was cute. Sorry about your loss. Up until the filter incident, he had a great life!

did you show him the movie Finding Nemo? Maybe he got some wise idea from that:(
