From what I found on line:
Aquarium use
Smaller specimens are a popular aquarium fish and can be very entertaining especially at feeding time. However they grow quickly , so it is not recommended that they be kept in any set up of less than 5 feet ( 500 litres) In aquaria they become quite tame and can be hand fed, they are non aggressive species however the feeding reflex is violent and sudden so they can not be kept with any tank mates small enough to be swallowed.

Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!

Matt you know the drill, buy the MONSTER fish, and when it starts to get too big, buy a BIGGER TANK!

This is what I found.

The Barramundi is a big fish. It can weigh 10 to 20 kg and more, and a length of over 1 metre isn't uncommon. Its maximum size is 1.8 metres and it will then weigh about 60 kg.
