i dont imagine it would catch a tiger barb...has he only got 1 of eat?? never heard of eith corrys or barbs being kept on their own.

i have a red clawed crab in my community tank with dwarf guarmis, rainbow shark, tiger barbs, albino corrys, small clown loaches and it has never bothered anything in it.... i imagine if its a small crayfish it will act in the same way mine does eating my plant debris and keeping tank clean!

I dont know much about crayfish but if they are carnivorous then will eat your fish IF they can catch them
I can't get no sleep

i have been pondering this for some time, as i would like to do it. from what i have been told; and this regards my tank of 600liters with 2 O's, the cray will generally not go for a lve fish, especially if it is larger. if it is underfed, then it might chance a nip. but there is crayfish food out there, as long as they have a full belly it should be ok. they will also take the odd live fish, a small enough goldfish that strays too close or guppy

And on the bottom living fish like plecos may be an easy prey...

they shouldn't, unless the pleco is smaller. i think they cray should be significantly smaller than any fish in the tank. (any you wish to keep)

i have a lot of grass shrimp with the tiger barbs and Red Zebra. so far no
issue there. just provide the crayfish a hiding place since the barb will
try to nip the feet of the crayfish from time to time. the most delicate
situation is when crayfish shed the shell, it is vulnerable to barbs attack

i agree with paul, but have seen them catch a fish half their size. they do need a hiding spot tho, like any yabby, a small piece of pipe usually will do

I've had mine for years now and he has never attacked any of my fish. I did however put another smaller one in the tank and he killed it and ate it. I think the tank is abit small as they do get big. Ohh and there great escape artist.
