I'v been having trouble with this O since I bought him, he's the one who came down with the ICH and I raised my temp up to 86 for ten days and his spots cleared up and he was really active for the last few days almost to active he was freaking out all the time and would eat like he hasnt eatin in days I new something was wrong but my wife said he's fine quit stressing over that stupid fish she said and this morning I woke up and he was floating. Oh buddy thats a shame mate.... Sorry to hear that. Was there anything that he was suffering from apart from the Ick?
I had a beautiful Golden Severum years ago along with a couple of breeding Brown Acara's. One evening while watchin TV he started doing loop the loops in the tank, all the other fish in the tank even the big Acara's ran to the corner. He must have suffered a huge stroke or something...... I know the feeling its a great loss....

So sorry for your loss... I know it sucks...

I dont know what the hell it was he was very active and a good eater one day and this morning I woke up and his fins were all shredded and he looked like it was fin rott is what it reminded me of but he didnt look like that yesterday, I dont think it was another fish because there isnt an aggresive fish in my tank I"m not sure what really went on I guess but my waters are good

No I probably wont get another Oscar I have a 60 gallon tank and I have to many fish in here as it is I'v got the Oscar two African Cichlids and one Convict so I"v still got 3 fish to many. I'v got another 60 gallon tank I'v been working on setting up but I'm going to let it run for atleast a month with a used filter to let it cycle. I'v also got some gold fish to put in there to help it cycle

but it died after healing up.... don't be too hard to yourself...

perhaps it was due to food spasm.... over eating after staying
without food during medication....
