I think this answers your question.

If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy?

The Paroon Shark, otherwise known as Pangasius sanitwongsei, is sold here in the States and other "western" countries as a small cute little 2-3" fish, with no info on it, and of course a good price. So unsuspecting aquariaists buy them not knowing that the Pangasius catfish is a mostly predatory fish that can easily grow past 4 feet.

Paul has lucked out. Most large catfish will eat whatever they can fit in their mouths.

And Jamie - I got that video from YouTube.

You said 'And Jamie - I got that video from YouTube'

Why would you want to put a video like that on the site. The fish being eaten a favourite amongst fishkeepers, with all the Hooo haaa of the Jaws music playing in the back ground to make it all the more mellow dramatic. Would it not have been better to just say 'No they are not compatable' rather than show a sick video like that. People distributing stuff like that are as bad as people that make it.....

And Jenni - I am sorry if I have caused any ill feeling I DETEST.... cruelty in any form

Corys got finspines that will get stuck in the paroons throath and both will be at great risk of not surviving.
I like the size on this one:

No , but they have got some fullsize ones at the Zoo nearby.
They have passed the 3 foot easily and realy look like sharks, impresssive.
Kim wanted to buy one , but was in shock after seeing their full potential.

But they need loads of space to thrive.
The adults i've seen were in huge ponds, i mean really huge.
