I would almost guarantee that is a bristlenose catfish

Bristlenose catfish max out at about 5 inches, however they'd take quite a long time to get there, possibly two or three years. I know I had some and they were very slow growing

The unidentified pleco may indeed be a ancistrus dolichopterus
I found this today:

like i said before i rehomed my ancistrus for i wasn't sure my O wouldnt eat it.

if it is a bristlenose then well done! i have them in my big tank atm, great fish!! dont get 2 big and thus dont outgrow yr tank or s**t for england like a common pleco! ...altho they do still crap alot! and do a great job of cleaning yr tank...my big tank is fairly new so plenty of algea of the bristlenose...not even feeding it atm and it grown nicely, reckon its about full grown now

Mine did live with my Oscar for a year, but i know the plecos defence system can pose a threath when swallowed by an oscar.
Once swallowed a pleco will extend all his spines, and lock them.

Mind you, both fish in the picture did not survive, not even after removing the pleco, for the O couldn't close his mouth after the incedent.
Given a good cave , what every pleco should have, the Oscar may not even be interrested, but i didn't want to take any risk to find something like above.
Any pleco above 8 " is fine for me.
