Ive got my community tank set up. It has:

1x Common Pleco
1x A weird pleco, Its yellow with black lines along it. Full size about 4"
13x Neon Tetra
4x Cardinal Tetra
7x Albino Cory
7x Peppered Cory
1x Jeweleye Cory
1x Bronze cory
6x Serpae Tetra
5x Rummynose tetra
1x Fighting Fish
1x Flying fox
1x Kribensis
1x Silver Gourmai
4x Zebra Danios
4x Cherry fire shrimp.

With all them fish listed. I havent seen my shrimps ever since i added them. Is this to be expected? They were only about half an inch, an inch tops. None of the fish above will eat them will they? Also Can they get out? I read somewhere about shrimps climbing out of tanks?

Thanks

wow! I bet your tank looks nice with all those fish?you will have to post some photos. The only fish you have that could possibly pose a threat to your shrimps is your common plec believe it or not. Even though these are primarily vegetarian, I've seen them eating small dead fish before so in theory I suppose given the chance, they would snap up a shrimp. No, shrimps won't climb out of your tank, however, they are prolific jumpers so you could possibly jump out on the tank if they are startled.

I will soon . The tanks still cloudy ive just siphoned the sand and added a new filter and also 12 new plants. Replaced my old fake plant mat with all kinds of plants. I also have a moss ball, im hoping it will grow and eventually cover parts of the tank for the fish. My fighter LOVES the new plants, he hasnt come out since, hes just realxed in between 2 amazon swords.

My common pleco hasnt given me any problems yet. Ive found one of the shrimps stuck to the back of the filter eating away. The others are hiding under a mat I have i think? I saw one of them there. The plants wouldnt stay grounded in the sand so I took my fake plants off their plastic grid and put the real plants through it, will the plants still grow in sand?

Yes, your plant should thrive in the sand as their roots will spread out much easier than if you had gravel. Remember that keeping aquarium plants can be a challenge. You will have to prune the plant to stimulate growth. Also, they will need light so it may be a case of you getting used to looking after your plant so that they grow and stay healthy. Don't be fooled into thinking that you can just put a load of plant in your tank and will look after themselves. One other thing to bear in mind, some fish like dining on plants so if you notice your plants are being eaten, you may have to determine which fish are the culprits and change the plants
