has anyone had any experience with Nymphoides aquatica? (banana plant)
thinking of adding these in with bubbles... i have fake plants in with her now thinking of trying some live stuff

I wish I had access to the banana plant. I suggest you give it a trial or two. I'm able to keep my Oscars in a heavy planted tank now -I did this slowly, since day one withs a good share of failures in the way- and my Oscars actually enjoy the plants. They seem to tolerate -leave alone- some plants they would uproot or totally destroy a few months ago.

i grow bannana plants in my garden outdoors ,but i have never tried them in an aquarium?? the ones outside need a permanent wet root system in order to thrive but im not entirely sure we are talking about the same strain of the plant:blush:

well so far my lfs hasn't called me back to tell me weither or not they can get them i want to try these plants with her so bad even if she does bust em up it's funny to watch her do so
