When i picked up my new tank the pervious owner gave me a rock with a plant attached to it, it looks really cool. My Oscar trashed the plants i had when he was young but doesn't seem to worried about the these days.
My question is do have to do anything special or add something to the water to keep it healthy?
I have never had any luck with plants.

o's usually dont like lots of stuff in theyre tank. and i use prime for my water. and you should have a water test kit to ensure that the water is ok for your o.

plants usually need a good quantity of lights. and sometimes a
monthly dose of CO2. but before going further, we need to know
what plant it is.
