ether my eel or my pleco keeps eating the bottom of my plants right on the stalks. do you know with one it is or how to stop it thanx:)

It could be both and the only way to stop it is to take the plant out, I know that's not what you wanna hear but they like to eat plants.

ok thanx i guess ill leave it in there for a little while as long as there enjoying eating it lol. then i guess im switching to mostly fake plants

With most fish that's the way to go but like you I love the way real ones look. If you've got the money keep giving them live ones to play with
