I was with not many action lately but I am back

Well I have again a batch of eggs but this time since I remove the third fish in the the tank, the possible pair started again

I found that they lay eggs and I think all are ok

What I would like to ask is what to do.... just let the pair take care of the babies or I need to remove the babies or the larvae???

Oscars are very good parents, so if the parents are the only other fish in the tank, I would not take the babies out. However I have never breed oscars so I am only speaking from what I have read. There may be some less obvious reasons that I am not aware of.

considering that they are alone in a huge tank, i would rather leave them alone
and try your luck with them. yes, oscars are great parents... so give them a
chance this time.

even u had ur third fish (assuming he's not an extremely aggressive one), this pair will take care of the babies since u have a huge tank. no need of separating the babies, these fellas are known to be good parents

Thanks for the advices... yes the pair is alone there...

So I guess I should try to direct some artemia naupli as near as possible to the babies then...

Any other advice?

Amazing size tank you could have a whole Oscar family in there lol...after removing about 95% of them

A huge tank? Looks more like a swimming pool

lol, i just calculated that it 11x the volume of my "Big" tank, that's just amazing.
Jedi, my wife said: "Ow, imagine the waterchanges on that tank!".
But a tank that size will probably have less waste issues.
How often do you change your water and how much at a time?
Any other tankmates in with them?
Have you got some overview pics of your tank to share with us?

Next time yes or yes I will remove the fertilized eggs...
I hope the fish lay eggs soon to do it correctly this time... what the books say not always in true....
