Here are the babies eating tonight's dinner. They eat full size brine shrimp now, as well as crushed Cichlid flakes and Spirulina flakes. No casualties for a few days now they are all pretty strong and fat. One PWC per day because there is no food left hanging around, only poo! They settle down at night so I feed them at about 10 pm and then at 7am, no more night feeds. Enjoy the new baby pics..

That's because all they do is eat and poo, eat and poo, eat and poo. Sometimes I worry I am feeding too much because they look pregnant after dinner!!!

Gotta keep a few at least...would like to keep them all but for obvious logistical reasons unfortunately I can't... can you imagine keeping that many grown up Oscars??? I will be very sad to see them go though.

We'd have to put a big heater in the Murray River...I'm an ex Mildura Girl..you could feed them one end and I could arrange to feed them the other. Imagine that, if Oscars got into the Murray and adapted to the cooler water....there would be no other species of fish left!!!!!!!

Just south of the Gold Coast at Tweed Heads. Grew up in Merbein (near Mildura) and born in Melbourne...You're in SA aren't you...Adelaide?? I lived in Warradale for awhile a few years ago.
