hi, i just watched all your vids on how you are trying to get a brieding pair of oscars..

first of all i have never seen a bigger home aquarium then your 300g that thing is sweet.

i cant wait for an updated vid to come on now..

what do you plan on doing with all the baby when they come?

I am not planning a breeding program, it really is for the benefit of this website. The two Oscars in the 125 gallon tank laid eggs for the second time last night. This is 2 weeks after they first laid them. I'm quite sure that the other one is a male, they have been threatening to lay egg for the last week. They been showing all the signs of laying eggs again, cleaning Their rock, not letting any other fish near it, eating a small amounts of food and then straight back to the rock again, this is all signs of Oscars that are going to produce eggs. I'm pretty sure the other one is a male, I think I could see the spike sticking out from under him, however am not sure if the eggs are fertilized, will have to wait and see

or are you going to kill the fry?

I shall leave the fry with the parents, and any that look like they will survive, I shall put in a 20 gallon tank and the aquatic center will take them off my hands. you'll have the same problem with lots of different fish that breed, convicts, severums.
