how old are you Oscars? I'm a little confused, have you now got three Oscars? it sounds as if you are describing the female, the males sexual part is a lot more difficult to see them the females.

Occasionally, their sexual organs will protrude if they are performing a breeding courtship. However, it certainly not a guarantee that they will start laying eggs. The conditions in your tank will be very different to what it's like in their natural environment. Some fish will lay on a regular basis, others will just do it intermittently. You're just going to have to wait and see what happens

if you really want to succesfully breed your oscar they should be house alone without any tankmates. the pleco being nocturnal will definetly be a threat to the eggs as will any other fish inthe tank. if the parents feel threatened they might also eat the eggs themselves.

if you actually have a mating pair you can encourage spawning by feeding more live foods for about a week then at your water change do a larger than normal one and replace the it with water a little cooler in temperature, say about 3-4 degrees. i have tried this and it worked for me.
