Are you quite sure it's completely blind? in the wild, a fish like this would not survive.Obviously a blind o in captivity is much more likely to survive. Oscars rely on their excellent eyesight to do nearly every task. To be quite honest, I've never come across a blind o breeding so I couldn't honestly answer your question conclusively. However, if it cannot see the eggs, I don't see how it can successfully breed. Oscars use the eyesight to remove bad eggs, if it's blind, it will not be able to do this. They also ferociously defend the eggs, again, if it's blind, fish are going to be able to take advantage of this.
