Hi all - well I have 1 baby from the last batch who is happily living in his/her own little tank. only about 3 weeks old, so still pretty small (takes a bit of time some days to actually find him). Hopefully once he is a bit bigger, he will be able to share a tank with "Junior" (single survivor who is about 3 months old.

As soon as the parents lay more eggs, I will try again to get a whole heap of them survive.. will keep you updated!

cheers
Leone

How about trying this....put the sponge filter in the parents tank to cycle it, & then when you have a batch ready to go, simply move it into the fry tank. Keep moving it as needed, & you will have a well-cycled filter ready to go.

THOSE WHO REFUSE KNOWLEDGE ARE DOOMED TO FAIL.

WATER CHANGES ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF THIS HOBBY. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE SO OR SIMPLY DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING THEM, RE-HOME YOUR FISH, SELL YOUR AQUARIUM & FIND ANOTHER HOBBY, AS YOU WILL FAIL UTTERLY, COMPLETELY, & MISERABLY.
