mishka created the topic: Very strange question??

My boyfriend asked me, "why are baby fish called fry?" And I sat there for a minute thinking that I don't even know myself, so I googled and googled and still can't find the answer....

Why are they exactly called fry?? Anyone know?

well i don't have any clue either but fishfry is always associated with baby fish.
another term that i am confuse is the shrimp brine... wherein brine is also a
term use in refrigeration.... a solution use in exchange of heat...
