I answered your other thread about this. We need to know tank size to advise on the 'sucker fish' (again, common pleco?)

As for them breeding, it may take quite a while since they've been moved - but, how big are they, and how do you know they're a pair?

I think you should stick to one thread, otherwise things are going to get confusing!

I assume you are talking about a pleco? Many people do keep these to fish together and have no complaints. Other people have reported that the plecs have tried to suck the slime coat off the Oscars when they are sleeping at night. This is one reason why I would never have one of these fish, the other reason is they are extremely messy. However, if you want your Oscars to breed successfully then you really don't want any other fish in the tank with them, especially fish that are going to cause a disturbance at night.

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)

Thanks for replying, the tank is a 100gallon tank.
The oscars are 8-9 inches long.
I keep the temp at 28 degree celcius.
Thats the common pleco fish.
One bio filter and a power filter.

No, you're overstocked with two oscars in a 100 gallon already. Don't add a common pleco. They grow to be over two feet and need about 100 gallons to themselves to thrive. Not a good addition to almost any tank, I'm afraid.

no problem.

You can feed oscars beef heart, but not every day (it's a bit rich for them).

Here's a recipe:

So whats the deal lots of people say to feed it to your fish but then I have heard they cant properly digest it and it can end up killing them I dont feed it to them i try to feed them blood worms and stuff they would find in the wild(like worms, bugs, some greens)I also feed them pellets to but is it just a myth that it can be bad for there heart and kill them?

Beef heart is a bit bad for them, in much the same way as a donut is bad for you.

But, if you feed it in moderation (once a week, a small portion) it can help your oscar put on bulk, especially width-wise.

If you're going to feed it every day, you will make your fish sick. In general, the advice should be that beef heart is not a good food, because eating donuts every day will make one sick.
