Tiger barb wrote: Hi guys, im from South Africa. I have exactly the same issue with one of my O's. I currently have a 4ft bare bottom tank as im busy setting up my new 6ft tank. My one O has the same behaviour, always cleaning the glass at the base of the tank and has gone off his/her food and only accepts bloodworm now and again. My two O's are about 20months old and 30cm in length. Will be following this thread closely.

Hi fellow South African :)

yeah, i picked up "trained worms" last night haha.
there is a bait and tackle shop down the road and they have a sign that says "trained worms for sale, we train them to catch fish!" its kinda funny
so i got him some, but they are too big and thick and my oscar just kinda splashes around when its partly in its mouth, and spits them out...
their training is not yet complete haha.
is there a certain type of worm that i can BUY easily?
i just fed him a worm i found outside, but they are few and far between right now.

some oscars just don't like worms. Have you tried some crickets or beetles?
