Are you allowed to feed oscars when they have eggs or babies?

oscars do not take food during spawning,
2 days before and 3 days after laying their
eggs. it will just a waste to feed them plus
it will become biolaods in your tank.

sir can please post pics.. I havnt see this ever ... so do you separate them from the rest??
