I attempted to get the fry out yesterday and only managed a few as the parents were really aggressive ( which is understandable) so I will have to come up with something to separate them. The fry are going strong!

Make a fry trap. All you do is take a 20 oz Plastic pop bottle. Cut the top off and invert the cut off top into the plastic bottle and secure it with tape. So now you basically have a funnel that goes into the bottle. Put a little bit of food in the bottle and sink it in the tank. The fry will go in there and wont be able to figure out how to get out. After a half hour or so just take the trap out and you should have a bunch of fry in there

I've managed to remove most of them now, I used the hose from my vac to siphon them into a bucket.

Here's another quick vid of a few fry that I removed from the parents. I did get a lot more out after the clip.
I've noticed some are quite dark and others are light yellow, do tiger oscars have albino fry?

Lol you and I are going to have to post weekly vids of fry. Mine are still with their parents but with no other fish. I decided to let the parents raise them and let natural selection take its course, mostly because I can't imagine having to cull them myself. I've had two batches so far, the first one was not well timed, and out of the fry I moved to a separate tank only one survived because he ate his siblings! Hopefully that won't happen again. These are staying in the current tank when I move mom and dad soon. Good luck With your wigglers! What will you be feeding them?
