can any body please tell me if these eggs are fertilized, and also should i remove them from the main tank, my last batch got eaten but i wasnt sure if they were fertilized.

no, they are unfertilized, after 6 hours, they should look like this

if a fish is half blind is there chances that the eggs may never get fertilized... im pretty sure my male is blind... has been since i bought him, at first he couldnt eat cuz he couldnt see the food properly, but i learnt that if i feed him pellets and dropped them on his head, he would just open his mouth and eat them, he loves live food but has a hard time catching it, unlike my other O that has perfect vision.
P.S he has been this way since he was a thumbnail big.

may be that is possible. my OneEyeJack had a hard time getting foods that i
drop on its left side but could easily get one on the right side. now, if
he is totally blind, i doubt he can smell the newly laid eggs. both should be watching the eggs.

both are watching like hawks, both attacked me just before when i rearranged their filter to better airate the eggs...

the blind one seemed more aggressive (male)

if the blind one attacks you whenever you put your
hand inside, then he is not blind.

i dont know if hes totally blind but i dont think he can see detail. has trouble with feeders etc

if he is guarding the eggs and drive away intruders, then
he is not blind. my one eye o could not see at the left side
so i can tap the body on that side, but at right, it runs away.

i think his vision is blurry... although he should know where the eggs are if he can half see... im pretty sure they have been fertilized now as a couple are still really white and the rest are dark. i hope they dont eat them all this time...

Well it seems like my eggs were fertilized after all, because now they have TAILS!!!! i really need some advice here...should i keep doing water changes with these little guys on the rock? i removed my other fish and placed them in another tank so they cant eat them if they survive... should i keep doing water changes?

Water changes wouldnt hurt of course. The better the water quality the better the chance of survival for the babies.
