yes will two female fight and lip lock i have two oscars and i keep gettin eggs then they eat em i dont kno if i have a pair or 2 femals

Two females will go through the same rituals as a pair but the eggs if unfertilized will stay white...

If fertilized will turn a tan or brown color.. (Male and Female)

Even if you have a breeding pair they will eat the eggs. I have a Pair of Jag Cichlids they have eaten their eggs 6 times now... It just takes patients. They will eventually get it right...
