Hi there my name is Jeandre i am 11 years old and got my first baby oscar a month ago i would like to know how often should i clean he's tank and do a water change he wil soon be in a 55g tank by himself.

change 50% of the water every week, with a good dechlorinator like aquasafe or prime. Rinse the filter media in tank water every time you see the flow rate slowing down through your filter - this is sometimes once a month, but usually it takes a little bit longer.

Do you know about cycling? :)

Hi there i'm new in oscar business, my baby oscar has a swolen belly i feed him flakes,bloodworm,sometimes lean meat and mealworms.should i be worried?

That depends....is his belly slightly swollen right after you eat him and it goes away a little after , or has it been swollen for a while without any improvement ?

Though I don't suggest eating the oscar, might make him sulk, he should be fed until his stomach is rounded. If it stays rounded, there are things we need to do to help.
