I have 4 oscars all around or under 3" long. They are in
a 75 gallon tank at the moment. My question is, how long
does it take for them to pair up, do they pair up as juveniles? I have 2 albino, 1 Tiger and 1 red. The two albinos are always together but I didn't think they paired up until they are more mature. Thanks

Oscars will pair up when they become sexually mature, this is normally from around one year onwards. They may not necessarily start breeding straight away though. There may be a few months of foreplay, or as its better known as, pre-breeding ritual.

You may want a bigger tank if you keep them till they pair up as they grow pretty fast and a 75g is really only enough room for one pair.

Yes I do realize I will need to split them up when they get bigger. Thanks for your responses. I was more curious if anyone had noticed if young Oscars, (pre-breeding age)will hang out together in pairs. Mine seem to do so.
Thanks
