i can tell but my oscar is sulking whenever i come in to check in on him. he lays down on the bottum of the tank like hes laying sidewards-ish on the gravel at the buttum. hes new just got him 2 days ago also he is a Viel Tail Albino too. he swims around and actually plays with with bubbles from the filter when im not in the room. Plus he always gets happy durning feeding time so i dont know is he sick or just being a Drama queen?

Then taken in a care and being tossed around and finally after this carried put into a new home within 15 minutes or so there life becomes hell. So it could take him a long time to adjust, so i would say its normal, my oscar was a nut for a while when i first got him.

delboybully ( User ) OFFLINE Posts: 5099	This is normal behaviour for oscar when they are placed in their new home. He should settle in a few days but it can take up to 2 weeks did you cycle the tank before adding the oscar
