is it just scales off the head or can you see little holes? Also how is the water chemistry (Ph ammonia nitrite nitrate)? What is the tank size? BTW ten years is a long time to have an oscar good job
I have no idea why the water bill is so high

i would def get a water testing kit. Those results could point us in the right direction. Are both os acting strange or just the one? Do they get into fights alot? Sometimes my os will get into a fighting mood for a day or 2 and not really wanna eat. In a few days if water chem is good he should come around. Lost scales sounds like fighting or hitting a tank ornament

yea it has happened where they have not eaten befor, but no they really dont fight, and just the one is acting strange, the scales are comming off all over the back of the head and hes also really bloated and where it poops or pee's, its really swollen? Hes never been sick before?? but wouldnt he just die if it was old age?

If i read things right you have 2 oscars in a 60g. Well 60g is not really big enough for 2 oscar, 75g is the minimum. You do need to get a test kit for Ph, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. In the meantime do a 25% water change every 2 days. Only feed what they will eat in 2 mins
I can't get no sleep
