I think it is by bad water, keep your water quality good it will be fine, my O have the same thing but not this much, i am changing my water quite often and also vacuum the gravel regularly they are gone now with some time.

Other experience members will help you too, if it is a fin disease like fin rot

With water everything is OK. I have this guy (maybe girl ) for a year, he is the the only one. But thing in white circle is 100% bad thing, rest of it just small air bubbles.

Its not a parasite, those are small scar tissue, or some kind of tissue bump, not totally sure but its nothing to worry about and I have seen them many times before. great close up shot. wish all members posted clear shots like that.)

hey marcus... i beg to disagree... this is a minor protozoan infection
if not attended properly could lead to a sever infection...

however, with good water maintenance, and increasing the temp to 80 deg F
for 5 to 10 days, it will be gone... just make sure you have good aeration,
warmer tank depletes oxygen in the tank...

This thing (in white) seats between main lines of fin. It is like 1mm diameter and 3-4 long.
I do water change every second weekend about 30% and do water testing. I have powerhead with air connected. Feeding mainly live worms and frozen fish, pellets a little, he don't really like them.
I thing I'll check API general cure if i find something similar. Not sure if this thing just disappear. I'll raise temps.

I have definitely had those bumps on my oscars, and had no problems. i did not treat or do anything other than my regular maintenance. if your water quality is good, i would just keep an eye on them and wouldn't treat with anything.

if you look in photo and videos there is a post on photo tips. if you like please post any tips on close ups as these are some of the best I have seen so far and can really help if other members could get shots of problems like these.
