Hi i saw a similar topic but this seems to be diff:

the story:
for afew days after i got marylin, elvis was showing who is the boss and stuff. it would attack the new commer but since i read in the site that if most of the times they are togetter and ok ... i didn't do anything and all was good.

but around 3-4 days ago after a 30% water change elvis started to be derpessed and seemed to be scared of me (marylin too but not as much) and didn't eat ... but since yesterday it would come out from the corner eat and act more normal but after that would run back ...
but today i noticed nasty cuts and saw that when ever it tired to come and swim around its being attacked by marylin and forced back ... and i also saw that some parts of fins are torn and cuts are more ... and marylin is not being kind at anytime but when they are eating ...

elvis is always hiding ...

and its starting to worry me ...

is that normal and after few days i should expect em to get along well or?

is it possibel that mrylin is taking revenge / 'cuase at first elvis seemed to be winning the finghts (fist when i got marylin)

if one of your fish is picking on the other the best advice I would give is give them a few days to settle down. If this dose not happen after a few days it will be down to you to decide if its going on to much and the other fish is becoming destressed or badly damaged, If this is the case then its always best to remove the agresser. how many fish have you got, is it just the 2 oscars??

I would turn of the light, all fish seems to calm down when it´s dark.
My filter is a power head with an airtupe to give airbobles in the water, it´s a powerfull filter and when I put the airtupe on it makes the water seem like a cold, rainy and stormy day. That makes them huttel together eventhough the use to fight.
Don´t know if it works for you, but here dimed light and stormy water seems to make them friends.

well the lights where off ...

but now they are friends again ... elvis's fin is healed now (pretty quickly, i'm amazed)
but one side of it is like ummm imagine a thick layer of paint on a paper and you scrap the paper and open it up again and like parts of paint falls off ...

but he seems to be ok ... i do more frequent water change to keep the water fresh and good.
