hello everyone!! alittle freaked out this morn. first of all i will admit it has been awhile since i have done anything with my tank. i know, BAD! anyway i was doing a water change this morn and doing some vacuuming, when i pulled my arm out of the tank there was a leech lookin think on my arm. FREAK!!! it is about 1/4 inch long when pulled together but streches out to about a 1 1/2inch long. im still shakin!! yuck!! in my tank i have 1 lg oscar,1 bala shark, 1 goldfish,2 pleco(1 lg, 1sm) and 2 peacock eels. im assuming it is a worm of some type,but would really like your opinions. what do i do?

i have it in a cup and it seems to want to be out of the water keeps climbin the side of the cup. my local fish store is a joke, they NEVER have answers so would really appreciate feedback!! can try and post pic if needed. thanx

Could well be Planeria which is a free swimming parasite that do not effect fish. flatworm is one type of this parasite. Take a photograph if you can

so i just went down to my lfs and they think it is a fluke, but everything i have read on flukes say they are tiny and can only be seen with a magnifying glass

Are you sure it's not just a leech. I will have a good look through my book again tomorrow
