I think your problem is probably related to your poor water conditions. Ammo & nitrite should always remain at 0 & no higher. These are both highly toxic.

How long has the tank been set up?
How big is it?
What filtration are you using?
What other fish have you got?
How often do you carry out water changes?

It could be a bacterial infection. Medication is pointless unless your water is good. Like tryig to treat a lung cancer patient when they're still on 40 a day

You need to get that water cleared if you have any hope of healing your fish.

I would reccomend a product called "Prime" this removes and/or detoxerfies ammo & nitrite. It's not a cure but will give the fish some releaf.
I may not always be right, but I am always the boss
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved

sounds like you used ick medicine that destroys your biological fiter and your parameters have spiked because your cycle has to start again causing toxic poisoning of your fish.............you can not keep any fish in your tank safely until you complete a full cycle again as the ick medication has wiped out your bio filter...........thats my opinion sorry

I think both guys above are right, the only thing I would add is do a 30-50% water change before you add "prime". check your water every day until your parameters improve, do water changes daily or every other day if they look worst or don't improve. if you answer ofl's questions hopefully we will be able to help further.
Be the change that you want to see in the world.
