I have a red tiger oscar and a lutino oscar in a 125 gal. aquarium with 2 large common plecos. The oscars are from two different locations but were added to the aquarium on the same day. They were only a couple of inches when I got them and are now a few inches bigger. They got along and seemed to be "friends" until a couple of weeks ago. Now the lutino (a little larger) attacks and has injured the tiger. Will they ever get along again or should I separate them?

The first thing you could try is rearranging the whole tank. Take them out of the tank while you rearrange things and then put them back once you're finished, Oscars are very inquisitive fish and will definitely noticed the difference,it will look completely different to what they are used to and you may find that there are more preoccupied by their new environment than having a go at each other. However, this is not guaranteed to work but it is worth a try.

If that doesn't work, you could try separating them for awhile and then introducing them again. It may work, it may not. In the end, it will be your discretion to decide whether they can live together or not.

i totally agree with OFL. however, if your oscars turn out
to be both male, territorial dominance will be your issue there.
bullying will keep on going unless you have a very big tank.
