Hey guys

I have checked my water parameters and its quite bad.

Ammo is at 2. Just did a %50 water change.

I think its because its a relatively new filter and hasnt been cycled well enough.

What do you guys reckon it is?
What treatment ?

hey mate, i did some modification to the link you posted
to show the picture but fungus it is not clearly shown.

this is unconventional but MB works well for me. put him
i a bucket using the tank water, dose with MB and allows
4 to 6 hours, then release him/her back to your tank. it
will heal in no time.

MB is methylene blue, anti fungi, anti fin rot med.
salt has a comforting effect with the fishes. plus
it enhance oxygenation and soften the water a little
bit. it also help fish relieve from excess eye fluids.

please check what for is the malachite blue. we may have
two names for the same items.

Melafix worked well for me but remember to take your carbon out. He's been fungus free for 3 weeks now : )
