i have two albino tiger oscars they were bought at the same time, one of them has doubled in size while the other has stayed the same, the problem i have is that the smaller oscar has become very shy, it hides behind the filter and it wont take its food it has also lost its colour.I have seen the bigger oscar chasing it around the tank and bullying it, could this be the cause of the problem there is no problem with the water in the tank and the tank is 250 litre`s. Any help would be much appreciated.

do you have another tank that you could put the sick O in? I would put that temp @ 80 and that would relieve some of the stress of being chased and that way you could treat him. this site is great and I know they can help you threw this.

have you noticed if the poo of the small O is white/translucent and stringy?????

there are some instances that oscars grow at different rate.
sometimes, when you get them from the lfs, one was already
having some health issues while other don't, thus, grows
differently. fishes by nature attack the weak or those with
infection. i can not explain why but that is reality.

while observing the weakling, i suggest you try the biggamehunter
magic bag for the bully for about six hour, and then release it back
in the tank. hopefully, hostility will stop
