In the years of owning an oscar, I have never had them play dead to ambush any of my dither fishes. They watch, wait, and then they gulp the fish down, head first.

I looked at your link, and I didn't see anything about "playing dead"

hi there

1. ts, recently I bagged home 2 little tigers home @1.5" on 21/02/2015.
2. when they were released into the 422, they were just black with its orangey/red markings.
3. come morning, they were literally lying on its side, pale green; almost motionless.
4. honest, I paid very little attention to the babies.
5. but within 1 minute, they changed almost completely, rushing towards me for food.
6. blackish with those striking red markings.
7. shall appreciate it if you can download a clip on your Oscar.
