Welcome to our community. You are going to have to give us some more information on how you are keeping your Oscar.

How big is the aquarium?
What type of filtration are you using?
Have you tested the water for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH?
Have you got any tank mates?
What have you been feeding the fish?
Is the Oscar breathing heavily, i.e. opening and closing its mouth rapidly?

If you can answer all of these questions then we may be able to get a better picture of what is going on

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)

I got Wallace 16 days ago
My uncle setup the tank 4days before we got him
He has no tank mates...yet
The aquarium is 55 gallons
I started feeding him flakes at first but he wouldn't eat them so a week later I got him pellets he never touch them there floating in the comer I thought he couldn't eat blood worms yet but I got them just in case
No he's not breathing heavy
I'm not sure on what kind of filter he has but I'll ask my uncle

Start with 25% daily water changes. Get an API freshwater test kit. Monitor for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. Quality conditioner like Prime will protect from possible ammonia. If you see any nitrite, you need a salt solution to protect the fish during cycle. When in doubt on anything, do a water change.
