Hi guys

Had my two Oscars for about 5 years now. Never really had any problems. One of my Oscars is deformed it has Been since small. But recently I have. Noticed it's stomach is extremely large and some scales are kinda popping out?? Like bubbled. I have done many water tests and that area is fine. So I guess it's either constipation/blockage. From what I hear this is untreatable? If so how is the best way to humanly kill it? As I don't want it suffering. I laid of the pellets for a bit and it still has an appetite and swims normally. Please help. .

I think thats a tumor, and if so it is terminal. But.. as long as the fish will eat, try saturating some of his feed in epsom salt. Dissolve 3/4 tsp of pure ES in 1/2 cup of distilled water. Soak his pellets in that, let him gobble a few down. Slim odds, but nothing to lose at this point.

I may not be the Boss, but I'm ALWAYS right!

you may also try throwing some fresh green peas... if the take it, it may also help remedy constipation
