Hi. In my other 55 gallon tank, my 2 blood red parrots have developed ich. There also is 2 plecos and 6 small schooling fish in the tank. Im not sure how it happened, it was probably because i found a cool puffer fish and put him in the tank but later i found a mass growing on his body so i got rid of him. Now both my parrots have white spots on them. I first noticed it a couple days ago. My water quality should be great, i do everythin i should and i test it to make sure. What do you guys recommend to treat my fish? I wouldnt be able to lose one What do i do guys.

turn up the temperature to 28c and use a white spot treatment. i know some people don't bother with using a treatment and just up the temp but for the little cost of a treatment i would us it. adding an aquarium salt will also aid the treatment. i have used "interpet" with good results but any treatment to cure white spot will do the job. parrots are super strong fish so will recover fairly quickly

I just saw this, I try to always say something.
I agree with Marcus, the low cost of meds is well worth it and they work fast.
If you can't beat them...arrange to have them beaten!
