Hey, I just came by my room to drop some things off and feed O and he's acting weird. I don't have time to test the water (ice cream melting in the car) but i just did a water change on wed and fri and my parameters have always been fine. I turned on the lights and he didn't swim around excitedly like he normally does, he was kinda being sucked onto the filter intake and when i put my hand in to move him he swam away but then was acting weird flosting at bottom funny and swimming slow. Isn't very interested in food, ate a few bites but not like normal, leaving some, eating slow. coloring seems a little off too, a little pink around nostrils and mouth and HITH seems a little worse. I treated with API metronidazole and praziquatel last week and we did feed him a couple baby frogs earlier in the week, i can't think of anything else that's changed. Is it possible he was just sleeping and is being slow to wake? I've never really come by to see him this late before. Thanks for any advice, I need to go home, i guess i'll check on him in morning, i'm hoping he is just being sleepy, the filter thing worries me though.

i would guess that they were sleepy... when i wake my O's up they dont move much for about 15 mins... the first time i saw this it scared the beejeezes out of me and i thought they were dead, so i touched one, big mistake. He took off like a rocket around the tank and nearly broke eveythng in there.... i think i scared it. lol.

i dnt know much about feeding frogs, i ave never given mine frogs, but i dont think it could be harmful, unless the ave some sort of toxin. i dont know
other pets are my colt (Freddo Frog), my staffy (Tank) and my boxer x,(Steph)

you will need to test your water asap. if you have done a water change there is always a possibility that you have messed up your cycle. without a test you will never know. i would stop with the frogs as you never know what illness they contain.

water change is the most appropriate action you have done.
HITH treatment usually make fishes refuse to eat especially
the metro. HITH is a complication of poor water and poor diet.
with pristine water and good diet, HITH has no room in your tank.
