My largest Oscar recently lost his appetite, 3 days ago.. Not sure why but he seems to lay down on the gravel a lot and if I'm not mistaken i think he has gained a bit of weight, his body got a bit bigger.. I haven't fed him anything new, just krill's and cichlid gold, He isn't swimming around like he used to, he either sits on the gravel or swims in his own place.. i also have been noticing some white spider web looking growing on my driftwood.

these are my water levels
Ammonia=0
Nitrite=0
PH=8.0
Temp=7.9

As you can see from these photos that he is just swimming there and not moving, he usually begs for food when i go close to the tank. and i did a water change not too long ago 50% water change.

Two more things, His color seems to turn pale a lot (just like when 2 Oscars fight), no one is bothering him tho. he is swimming alone. and his mouth seems to be more open than usual

Update: His poop seems to be white, i have never seen this before.

Bought some medications. Used General Tonic Tetra and it seems like he is getting worse everyday.. he is laying on the gravel and not moving at all. there seems to be white worms crawling on my fish tank glass, it seems like since i used the med they started to appear..

The white worms are probably from over feeding. Just scarp them off the glass and the filter will suck them up. They aren't normally harmful to your fish.

As for what is wrong with your O, I have no idea. I hope it gets better soon.

sorry for the loss.... but that is unusual....
7 hours are too short for the fish to die for
such an infection. it looks like poisons had got
into your tank......

parasite, constipation, injury and the like
could take a weeks or months before dying.

sorry to hear about the loss of your oscar. hopefully your other oscars are acting and eating normally and are not showing any signs of what your largest was one was.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!
