My O's have got some sort of round white blisters on its fins abt 4-5 in number. It looks like an external parasite,I examined it closly n can acually see it kinda wriggle. Wat shud i do i have increased d temp to abt 28c(from 26c) for now n performed 50% water change.
I have had my O's for 2 months now n my tank was properly cycled before introducing my fish.I have them(7" & 8" red tiger O's) in a 100 gal tank.

i believe you have an ick..... increase the remp
and add pure salt after big water change (1tbs/10ga water)
varied foods and pristine water will do the magic

They are very good photos but its not quite the same as looking one self. Are you sure they are moving is the thing to ask yourself. Its not just movment from the fish swimming around. if your answer to this is yes you are sure the marks are moving by themself I would say you have a higher form parasite infection.These come in the form of crustaceans, e.g. anchor worm (Lernaea species) fish lice (Argulus species) gill maggots (Ergasilus species) and fish leeches. These higher forms of parasites are fortunately not common in aquarium fish.
Treatment for Higher Form Parasites Treatment should be with a product such as Interpet's Anti Crustacean Parasite No. 12. This powerful treatment eliminates these difficult to eradicate parasites, but should be used with care!! this kind of treatment will probablay knock out your filter.

Do they move around on the fish or stay in same place? I am thinking Argulus species. I am looking at the mark on middle of tail fin. The shape looks the same?? but only you will tell upon very close inspection.

Yes i can see them moving around on the tail fin of my O.N the movement is very noticeable . I too think it is the "Argulus" species cause it looks d same as in d link. Wat medication can i give other than "Dilimin".Can i remove it manually with forceps.
