Hey guys.

This is my first post and it seems like a really helpful community already

Anyway, I have 2x 20cm Tiger Oscars in a 150L tank, I know it's a small tank but they've been going fine for over 3 years now, they did have HITH but that's gone away, so they must be getting healthier.

Lately, there has been this white substance on the top of the water, it sometimes bubbles so I have NO idea what it is, someone said it may be their "skin" but I've never seen it before in the last 3 years + .

EDIT* It still appears after water changes too...

The only thing I can think of is possible particals out of your filter media... Do you have a canister filter?

So by that you mean food? If so, this has never happened before so it must be something else? They are eating normally.
