The Middle size oscar lays on the bottom of the tank, his gills stop moving every once in a while. he rubs himself on the rocks also. All the fish are acting weird, I sprayed for fleas and didn't cover the tanks (BIG MISTAKE) they all have cloudy scales and are acting weird. we did a 50% water change after we realized you weren't supposed to spray the flea spray around the tanks.
at least we know it is due to poisoning.....
1) large water change will do....
2) raised the spray nozzle to create more agitation in the water...
3) add pure salt at 1 tbs per 5 gal water salt ration.....
4) install carbon filter to help remove the remaining poison
we cleaned all the filters, every part that would come off the tank, all the glass, (no chemicals used). It wasn't a bomber, it was just spray.
how did you clean the filter? tap water??? if it is, you just kill the good bacteria in it.... an additional injury to the fishes....
