Depends how badly the fins are damaged. If the root of the fin is intact and not damage than the whole thing should grow back okay. Of course it really does depend on how good your water is. Injuries can take time to head up and even get worse if the water is in poor condition

If you are worried, try and get a photograph and then we will assess the situation for you

If the water parameters are ok, your O's fins will grow in no time(unless the roots are damaged).
Best way you can help your O is by making sure your GT wont harm the O again and keeping the water conditions good. And if your filters make a strong current that might slow down the growing rate of the fins too.

PS : I don't think GTs are good tank mates for Os, since they are too aggressive even for Os.

GT is always live with its name.... thus, once become aggressive,
it will always be. you have to choose which of them to remain in your
tank, the other :rehome or another tank but keeping them together
in one tank would not be appropriate.

its such ashame GT's are to wild for O's, i think they are such a nice looking fish and would love one but dont wanna risk it. I read somewhere about a fish that looked similar but not as aggressive i think it was called at Bule Acra?

I must have some really calm fish cause I've had a pair of GT's in with all the others and the only problem I ever have with them is the female chasing the male but he goes and hides and she forgets about him. All my fish grew up together so that might have something to do with how well they get along.

The fish you are talking about are call blue acara's. They look similar to green terrors when small, although you can tell the difference if you know what you are looking for. If you post a pic of the body i can tell you which is which

The fish look very different when large, GT's have much more colour and are more attractive

Green terrors are not called terrors for nothing, it my early fish keeping i had a GT and it battered an oscar twice its size. Blue acaras are not aggressive

Sins you are lucky with your GT's, i saw a pair in a shop once and they both would attack your hand if you put it to the tank
I can't get no sleep

my male GT didn't eat for the first 5 weeks we had him, there are old posts here of my panic so he became my baby, Little Man...he finally ate a small worm and would eat worms but nothing else then one day he took a flake and soon pellets now he'll eat anything and he's growing great, he still comes to the glass to touch my hand or kiss me......he either loves me or knows I have the food Lady Green can be pushy but never violent.
