For the last two days I have noticed a white lint looking (something) on the glass of of my tank. Upon further invesigation, I noticed that they are a moving white worm looking much like a maggot. Anyone had this before?

sounds like planeria to me. it is usually caused by overfeeding. just wipe them from the glass and cut back the amount fed to your fish and i a week or so they should be gone.
also you can search the site for planeria and there are other tips for erradication of them.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

clean the hell out of your substrate as well. that is where they live and breed, feeding on the organic matter trapped there.

As necro said they usually come from overfeeding and not enough tank maintainence. Only feed what you oscars will eat in 2 mins. Also clean you gravel/sand weekly and make sure you are doing enough water changes
