does anyone know if its normal for my oscar to be swelling up around where the crap comes out? ive got a picture and will try to post it on my profile asap...

This is not normal, Is it possible that your Oscar is constipated? Have you seen him poop?

Is he eating normally?

Could you please post your water peramitors!

no i havent seen him poop but then again i dont see him most of the day but he does eat every time i feed them. he is the first one to the pellets. i dont have the water parametors but if its an emergency that i get those i can get them by tomorrow earliest
also he doesnt look sick other than that and i would upload pix but it keeps saying that the pic is too large of a file...

no it not like that...it looks like a pimple where his anus is but not all pointy its rounded and im going to take the pictures with me to the pet shop and ask the lady there because she sold it to me friday...ill try to let you know there water stuff and tell you what the lady said.

I don't know what size the fish is but if its a large fish chance is eggs????
Thats a guess cos ive got little info to go on?

he is about 1.5-2 inches long so just a juvinile yet and im going to take pictures to the pet store where i got him because a friend just told me that that happened to a fish she got from that same pet shop and the fish died 2 days later...but he eats every time i feed is extremely active i havent seen poop yet but dont see him every move either he looks very healty and happy except for that swelling. my other oscar doesnt have that and thats what made me worry.
