i have two 8 month old oscars one albino and one red. housed in a 75g tank. the water is perfect. not even the slightest abnormality in the water condition. last night they started swimming upside down. thinking it may be a swimbladder problem. i followed the instructions from another post and tried to help them swim upright but no change. and now i get up this morning and they both lay in the rocks at the bottom breathing but slowly. no momvement what so ever. i'm lost. i need help and fast. these are the children of the house and you can imagine a father without his kids.

thanks in advance.

Hi, what are the actual readings of your Nitrates-nitrites ammonia and pH?
Any changes made to the tank or the system, like cleaning filters?
What instructions did you follow and did you use meds?

ammonia is 0
nitrates 0
ph 6.9
i saw some in another post for manually helping them swim to see if it would help. it has me scared since they let me hold long enough to help them swim. the changes are that it has been a little more noisier than normal because of the holiday

What is the temperature of the water? What type of test kits are you using?

Shouldn't you be getting some nitrate readings if your filter is working correctly?
That one has got me puzzled.

any waterchanges done lately?
For a big difference in temp between the new and old water may cause the same symptoms you described.
