Electric yellow Cichlid is laying on the bottom of the tank with its fins down and is looking alot fatter and looks like it is struggling to carry its own. It cant swim high and looks like its dragging itself around.

maybe it has cancer i had a tropical fish with a bulge in it, turned out to be cancer and died!

If it looks like it is struggling to swim around or stay up (like there is a weight pulling it) then it is most likely a swim bladder problem.

What are the scales like- if they are sticking out it is bloat

Or it may be constipated

Any chance of a pic and can you test the water for ammoina, nitrite and nitrate please
