My oscar just came to the glass of the tank and I noticed what looked like tiny tiny pin pricks in its head. There was no white sores what so ever. They just looked like tiny pin pricks, there was a few of them and the fish is acting fine.

Are they meant to be there? Please help!

its possible that you are noticing the sensory pits on yours oscars head but without a pic its really hard to say for sure.
if you can post a pic of the area with the holes we will be better able to help you identify the problem.

I really doubt they would even show up on a picture. I will describe them as best as i can.
The color on the whole oscars head is the same color, its near enough the same color as this oscar i found on google

They are inbetween the nostrils and there is one behind the nostrils, there is a group of them in close proximity making a sort of triangle / pentagon shape on the forehead then just 1 behind each nostril a bit further back.

They literally are smaller than a pin prick i was just wondering as i didnt know oscars had anything like this?

They seem to follow pin pricks from the middle inbetween the nostrils, around the eyes going up not down and seem to go through the gill and follow the pattern at the side that looks like stiching, the one that all red oscars have and i think all oscars, are they just nerves?

I presumed that those pits was HITH too, when i first got my Oscar.
But it totally normal.
If the holes on your fish look like someone took a ice spoon and took scoops out of your fish' skin, it's more likely HITH.
